Hon. Dr. Wale Ahmed

Hon. Dr. Wale Ahmed was born in Maternity Center Agege on 3rd May 1965 and attended Anwar-Ul-Islam College Agege, Lagos 1977-1982, Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto, 1985-1991 and the University of Lagos, 2000-2002.

Career

Dr. Wale Ahmed was once a Medical Director New Agege Hospital, Shiaba Street, Agege, he was Elected as a member Lagos State House of Assembly, Agege Constituency 02, (1999 - 2003)

Memberr Lagos State Publicity Committee of the Action Congress of Nigeria for the April 2011 General Elections and subsequently served as the Hon. Commissioner for Special Duties between 2011 and 2015.

Ahmed had a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB, BS) in 1991, Masters in International Law  and Diplomacy (MILD) in 2000 and Masters in Humanitarian and Refugee Studies (MHRS) in 2002.

State Secretary All Progressives Congress (2018 - 2019) later appointed by Governor Sanwo-Olu as the Honourable Commissioner Commissioner for Special Duties. In January, 2020, Dr. Ahmed was redeployed to the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs as the Honorable Commissioner.

In 2022 Dr. Wale Ahmed resigned his appointment as commissioner and vie for the ticket of APC to represent Agege at the lower chamber. In February 2023 general election Dr. Wale Ahmed was elected as member federal house of representatives, representing Agege federal constituency. Currently Dr. Ahmed is the Deputy Chairman House Committee on Police Affairs.

The Lagos State Speaker, Rt. Hon. Dr. Mudasiru Ajayi Obasa, was at the graduation ceremony where graduates showcased their skills and talents in acting, modeling, cultural dance, and fashion. Obasa promised to empower the graduates with an additional 100,000 Naira each, along with startup funds from Hon. Dr. Wale Ahmed. In recognition of Hon. Dr. Wale Ahmed's contributions to human values, a variety of presents were given. The event was attended by various guests, including security agencies, press, and members of the public.
